Great Puzzle Book

I have all three of Will Shortz's word puzzle books. They are the greatest wordplay books. I use them daily with my 6-8 grade middle school gifted students as their problem of the day. I would highly recommend these books. Some puzzles are easier than others, and some puzzles have words and phrases in them that children are unfamiliar with. But for the most part, these have been very helpful in my classroom use. I am waiting for Mr. Shortz to produce others just like this one and the other puzzlemaster books!!

Makes you think.

Great little book that makes you think. For someone like me who can't do crossword puzzles this is another way to use my brain. These are not too difficult either. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fun riddles!!!!

This is one of the coolest riddle/puzzle books out there. It's not really a "puzzle" book in the sense of figuring out solutions and such, but they do make you think.
the riddles look like this:
Each word or phrase has the initials S.S
1. One minute _________ (answer: sixty seconds)
or
Each word or phrase has the initials T.T
1. Vehicle that takes cars to a car pound __________ (answer: tow truck)
the riddles are all like that; they're so fun to do!! I love this book! :)
