Everything's an Argument - Win every argument with this book

Everything's an argument. This book really sets the tone from the very beginning. I only studied what this book had to say for a month before the test scores I received in writing dramatically improved. The book opens the mind's doors to creative writing, logical thinking, careful analysis, thorough research, and much more. It is complete and entertaining to read. It improves vocabulary and sharpens literary skills.
The college I attended used this book for their writing program. Before using it, I didn't appreciate trying to put my thoughts on paper. I am left-brained; I think better with number computations and mathematics. I struggled frequently with creativity, originality and style. The class is over, but I still read this book.
I strongly recommend this product. Communication is key to understanding others and having others understand and respect you. This book communicated that to me, and I gladly enjoyed my lesson.

Could do More

I like the individual chapters in this book that explain arguments in very clear ways. What I don't like are the choices of readings in the back. What's difficult is that so many of these are news articles or editorial-like texts that are extremely difficult to dig as deep as I'd like to do in my course. Students seem to find this book confusing in organization as well. There are some good things - a few of the visual texts are quite intriguing and I rely on them a lot for class discussion, but I often have to supplement reading material for students.

This book arrived on time and was what I ordered.
Not a book I would have bought for my personal taste but I had to purchase for school.
